Sushi Party Night!

It is always nice to get together with your closest friends or loved ones and spend some time with food, conversation, and wine. Of course, someone is usually the hostess/host.  I was the host tonight for sushi party night and a '45' party recently!  The look and appearance of the party is also an important part! Many times I like to make my own food for the party.

Tonight though I ordered sushi, brought it home, but placed it on serving plates to make it more special.

Valentine's Day

I added a few new items for Valentine's Day this year including a sun catcher which can also be a gift for the recently married couple!

The items pictured are all glass (except for the hook on the sun catcher ;). The heart is even made of very small pieces of glass!  The best part about this is when I fuse it in my kiln it becomes permanent. It will not peel!

Use the coupon code ' Val17 ' for 10% off any handmade item with a heart in my online shop until 2/14/17 http://chelkay.etsy.com

You can even wrap it and add some candy! See my article here on how to do that. Buy this dish at my shop here.

Winter 2017!

I wanted to share some photos of a recent cross country ski trip close to me in northern Pennsylvania. I paired some of the photos with my glass inspirations plus a couple links and videos below learning to cross country ski and track new snow!
